  • Jonathan Field’s New Book: “Uncertainty”

    September 26, 2011

Via Pam Slim’s Facebook page: Jonathan Fields has a new book dropping this week: Uncertainty: Turning Fear and Doubt into Fuel for Brilliance. Learning to deal with uncertainty has been at the top of my mental realignment checklist for years, so I’m looking forward to seeing what insights and research that Fields has uncovered. • Podcamp Boston 6 Day 2

    September 25, 2011

Still exhausted from Day 1, me and my friend Sean carpooled into Cambridge a bit later, just making the first 10AM session. I was hoping that my renewed optimism for business planning would continue, but rather than focus on exclusively on business-related topics I chose to pick sessions that were being given by people who had piqued my curiosity earlier. If there’s anything I’ve learned from big conferences like SXSW, it’s that following my curiosity is consistently more rewarding. The same applies, I think, in all my endeavors. (more…)

  • Podcamp Boston 6 Day 1

    September 24, 2011

Chris Penn / Chris Brogan Another year, another Podcamp Boston! Although I hadn’t planned on attending this year, I’ve been on a mission to get out of the basement office and start socializing! • Help Me Pick Some Products, Please!

    September 22, 2011

Got a quick question for anyone who’s reading regarding print on demand:

    1. Which PCEO forms would you like to be able to purchase?
    2. What customization would you like to be able to do to the forms?

I’ve been talking with a printer about a web-based ordering system that would allow anyone to purchase forms in modest quantities. The printing quality is good; I’ve used them before. I’m thinking of making the investment.

    Some possibilities:

    • Any of the existing designs in the productivity tools section.
    • Customization of text on the form as-you-order (for example, your company name on a Compact Calendar)
    • Numerous paper options

I’m putting together a proposal for them for Monday, so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please leave a comment. My intention is to keep offering the free PDF downloads, but to also offer high-quality printing on high-quality paper at a reasonable cost to the people who want it.

  • A4 Version of Fast Book Outliner

    September 20, 2011

I’ve added A4-formatted versions to the Fast Book Outliner page.

Chrome web browser users: I have noticed that Chrome’s built-in PDF viewer does not draw the dotted lines correctly. If you download the PDF files and view them in Acrobat Reader, the lines appear correctly.
