I had a good time chatting with hosts Aaron Mahnke and Dave Caolo on Home Work #108, a podcast on the 5by5 network. Aaron is a designer/writer who happens to live about an hour away in the very town that I go to get my hair cut. Why do I get my hair cut so far away? It’s because (1) I like the owner of the salon and (2) it gives me a chance to visit friends I wouldn’t see as often. Like me, Aaron is designing paper products as part of his creative independence plan, and so its great to catch up with him and compare notes.
