I Want This

I Want This

Visit SiteThs iPod Nano is the first iPod that I really really really want. It’s so unbearably cool, I thought it might be a hoax from some talented underground industrial designer. For $199 I could verify the truth of the matter for myself…

Yum.

Actually, there was a hoax-like ‘mockup’ image that was rampaging online a few days ago:

I like this design too! I don’t know which one I’d choose, if they were both available.

Oh, and another things is—why did they jump all the way to ‘nano’? That kind of makes it hard if they want to follow that naming strategy. The next would be the “iPod Femto” I think, which just doesn’t sound the same!

I got to check it out today…it’s very small and light. Almost TOO light. I wanted it to feel more like a gold ingot :-)

    David –
I just had to get a 30gb in Black for Christmas.
Man was I very let down!
If you have a USB 1.0 your not going any where but if you have USB 2.0 then you might be ok, running Win XP/Pro/Home SP2. (was up all x-mas night into the night till 3:00am + with problems)
Now remember also I spent 500.00 to 600.00 on this from office to truck and even photo shoots.
At this point I am so mad I can understand if you don’t understand me, but would be MORE than willing to sell it!

That sounds like a bad experience! Sorry to hear you’re feeling ripped off. I still haven’t gotten myself an iPod yet…the windows problems sound horrible, especially since my travelling laptop uses USB 1.0 ports. Darn!

    Dave –
Use Belarc Advisor is a cheat sheet for me to remember what is in the computer. Nice program.
Another for cookies (and junk) is Cleanup!
Now after ranting about the 30gb iPod.
Funny you should say something about a traveling laptop.
Thing is I found the laptop has one 2.0 USB and two 1.0 USB with 56k modem. All due to Belarc telling me so.

I think we are just going to sell it on eBay.

Oh yeah, go to search and type “ipod winxp problems”
    Enjoy!
