I’ve had a couple of requests for a preview PDF of yesterday’s ETP Full-size Notebook so people could print it out and give it a try. I’ve prepped a preview PDF as today’s THING OF THE DAY.
Details below!
Design Details
Here’s what it looked like, again:
CHANGES UNDER CONSIDERATION
- Switch it so the ETP is on the LEFT, and graph paper is on the RIGHT. This would make the first page graph paper, but the last page would be a lone ETP.
- I could try to make a separate cover page, but this may increase the cost of the print run because I would have to do Print on Demand or do a whole extra run of offset plates.
- Moving the DATE to the outside edge, no matter what page it is.
DOWNLOAD
Here’s the downloadable PDF. It’s watermarked with a PREVIEW text, and is sized to 8.5×11 inch paper. The actual notebook will be a little wider, by 0.3 inches, to accommodate double-wire binding and preserve the ability slip a full sheet of paper between the covers without sticking out, because I HATE that!
- ETP8811-NOTEBOOK-Preview-DR01.pdf – date on left
- ETP8811-NOTEBOOK-Preview-DR02.pdf – date on right
Let me know what you think, and why, in the comments. Thanks in advance!

haven’t tested yet, but based on how i use notebooks, i definitely prefer the ETP on the right. :)
Penny: I like it on the right also! However, wondering what to do about the front page, because it won’t come with a side sheet! Unless I print a run of side sheets that are blank on one side, but that would add $1000 to the cost of the run.
