Day 11: Inconvenient Convenience Checks

Day 11: Inconvenient Convenience Checks

Shredded Checks It’s DAY 11 of The Minimalist’s Game, and again I spent most of the day away from home. Not knowing exactly where I was going to find 11 things, I decided to tackle one of the “old mail / junk mail” boxes that have been lurking under an end table since April. In it I found eleven of those blank checks that credit cards companies send you for cash advances, which annoy me because I can’t just throw ’em away; I have to shred them so the hooligans who sift recycle dumpers for personal information can’t use them fraudulently. This is a pain in the ass.

Today, they are shredded and ready for disposal. As a bonus, the rest of the easy-to-throw-away stuff gets thrown out as well!
