I love timers. This one (click the image above) is for a “Scientific 7-Minute Workout” described in the New York Times, counting down the intervals while showing you when to rest and when to do a particular exercise. The timer itself was created by Lindsay Silver and posted to Hacker News; its lineage is summarized by LifeHacker. I thought it was pretty cool, and I just like timers; haven’t tried the actual exercise yet :-) Hat tip to Eric Baumgartner for posting it on his Facebook page!
