Better Living Through New Media hit the 1000 RSS subscriber mark on Monday March 27, 2006! Yay! Thanks to everyone who has subscribed and stayed on, for whatever reason :-)
I think I will buy a nice bottle of Scotch to celebrate, but only if it stays at this level for more than a week…could be a fluke!

Hmmm i’m really jealous!

Congrats. Always rewarding to hit those 4 digits. Maybe one day I will get there as well. Hell I don’t even know where I am at now. That’s the beauty of not using FeedBurner I guess, never knowing and therefore never worrying.
Well Done! Yeay!
Go David!
Awesome dude! Great accomplishment! Here’s to another thousand!
…and save me a shot of that Scotch. :)
I’m pulling my feed unless I get a drink of that scotch (on the rocks, please).
;)
Thanks all! Brad and Nathan have given me an idea…that bottle of Scotch will be reserved for anyone I’ve met through the blog! I’ll bring it to the next SXSW, and if you’ve left a comment on this post, YOU’RE ON THE LIST for a free dram or whatever it’s called :-)
I’m planning on buying a really nice bottle of Scotch too…hope you like Islay Scotches. I drink so little, it would take me 10 years to finish it without help :-)
RSS makes it so much easier to weed through the crap of the Internet. I subscribe to pretty much only RSS feeds for news because I can get it on all ONE PAGE. That’s amazing right there. However, my blog (from what I can remember) isn’t available for RSS. I wish more blogs were. If I could read them on all one page as I do my news, that would be uber fab.
I stay cus you’re interesting & you’ve got good stuff (not just on productivity & the Portable CEO, which is how I found you).
Cristina: you do seem to have an RSS feed, since I just subbed to it via bloglines. I’m not sure what the universal mechanism for discovering RSS feeds are.
Alvin: Thanks! The feeling is mutual :-)
Scrivs: Yo! The trick for me is to just make celebratory events out of whatever happens to happen. Have to admit, though, that I was pretty excited. Now that it’s happened, I’m thinking that I can take the badge off.
If you had 1000 on 03/28/2006, how many do you have now? Is the Feedburner stat counter right 12843?
