Visit Site The J.K. Rowling Web Site is a really beautifully illustrated Flash-based Interactive. Good old-fashioned butt-kicking digital media illustration! Note the crisp compositing and the subtle shading work on the borders. Revel in the subtle moments of animation. Sure, it’s the old hunt-and-click interface underneath it all, but the production values are top notch and the implementation is spot-on. Bravo!

    I’m impressed by how this site actually has a sense of craftsmanship underneath it, small touches of quality that I don’t often come across even in the high-end work. The analogy that comes to mind is like picking up two expensive items of clothing, noting that the both have the same sharp style and quality of cloth, but one has extremely fine and even stitching that is craftsmanship in itself.
