Crixa Title Screen
1995

During times of need, I would pinch-hit for the graphics team. Splash screens and effects were common tasks. This is the second-generation Crixa Title screen, which appears as the game starts up and on our Milestone CD packages. I resurrected the logo for the title screen from Alen's store of images.

I like the "preserved butterfly" feel of this screen, which is different from other shooters. However, the screen is very dark. I have an overbright NEC monitor that threw off a lot of my graphic work during this period. You may want to adjust the contrast and brightness on your monitor to get a better look.

And let me say how disapointing recent NEC XV monitors have been. You need to spend the extra $300 and get the XP (or equivalent) one.
