MEK Screen
1987

This is an old image for a game I wanted to make for the Apple IIGS. MEK stands for "Machine Enhanced Kinematics", for powered armor in the finest anime sense. MEK also happened to be the initials of my friend Mark, who was my co-conspirator. I created it on my trusty Apple IIGS in 16 colors, using DeluxePaint II. This screen also marks the beginning of my love affair with fluorescent green. --- Note that the original was 320x200, but I've set it to 320x240 here so the screen aspect is correct. This introduces stretching distortion in some pixels (like using "nearest neighbor" interpolation in Photoshop when you resize an image).
