Digital Portfolio
1995

As graduation drew closer, the students in the Computer Graphics Design MFA
program at RIT got to make a digital portfolio with Director 4.0. True to form,
I based mine on some kind of scary-looking machine. Fit on a floppy for the
Mac version. The image shown in the window, incidentally, is a layout from ESPRIT (Electronic Still Photography at RIT) magazine. I was a contributor and architect of one of the CD-ROM sections. ESPRIT won a Silver New Media Invision award. Graphics for ESPRIT were by my good friend Gedeon Maheux (who taught me everything I know about Photoshop channels) and Bill Colgrove (who kept me thinking about what design really could be). |
