Bran Ferren, used to be Executive Vice-President of Walt Disney Imagineering Research and Development, Inc, now a principal of his own shop Applied Minds (Thanks for the heads up, Jing). He seems to give speeches about storytelling and technology. This is an interesting thread archived from a MIT Media Lab alum. I also saw that he was part of a panel with Brenda Laurel, Kevin Kelley, and Marvin Minsky on "Technology and the Self".
