9rules Interview w/ Dave Seah

POSTED 08/15/2006 UNDER Blogging

The ever-delightful Lindsay has been interviewing 9rules members like Shawn Grimes and Bryan Veloso, and now it's my turn!

Lindsay did a great job of digging through my archives to ask some equally great questions...thanks Lindsay! She also commented that so far, I've been the most long-winded. What, me? I'm SHOCKED! :-)

This one came out a little different than the last two with mcville and JWynia; one of these days I'll have to read/listen them all together and figure out if there are any deep-seated patterns in myself that have so far escaped detection.

What do you feel keeps readers coming back to your blog?

I really like your very positive and upbeat attitude. When you discover something new and interesting you write about it in a way that oozes a sort of giddy, infectious excitement. So many other people write from a jaded and negative viewpoint, complaining about this or that. You stay away from that, focusing on what makes us all more productive and creative.

And… I thought you were David Shea.

I lie… I never thought that :D I just think it’s really funny, especially after I read that that was one of your more popular posts. You need a T-Shirt that says:

I’m totally not obsessed about not being David Shea.

please hold me.

Good job David, enjoyed the read.  I have to admit that the first time I visited, I did think you were Dave Shea.  But it’s all good!

I particularly liked the part about the Sher book—I’m going to see if I can find it at my local Half Price Books.  I’m kind of the “jack of all trades” myself, and am always looking for ways to better take advantage of that—and it’s good to hear there are a lot of people like that out there!
