About Dave Seah
I get most excited by people making things and making positive changes in their lives in the face of doubt and uncertainty. I myself am in that very spot, so I write a lot about topics related to productivity, and have created several free tools to serve as concrete examples of my thinking.
In practical terms, my work revolves around making sense of the world, using my writing and graphic design abilities to clarify the ambiguous. The model I follow is pretty simple: I write about that which catches my eye, relate it to what I know, and then express the resulting insight in words, images, or tangible products.
My goal in life is to be a contributing member of society that values positive-minded, self-empowered, conscientious and kind people with aspirations toward quality, competence, and reliability.
Work Availability
I am currently booked through November 2008 on a museum project.
Starting in 2009, I will be offering a formalized investigative design service based on the methodologies I've refined over the past several years. The ideal clients will be those who benefit from insight into purpose, inspiration, and creating a tangible offering for their customers. More to come as 2009 rolls around.
I will also be pursuing writing as a main line of business, exploring the stories of people who are doing interesting things around the world. I plan to mix business with travel in pursuit of these stories, offering my writing and design services to help solve interesting challenges that people are facing. I will be publishing this content on my website.
