Tomato progress In other news, the tomato plants in the sub-irrigation planters have started yielding tomatoes! Here, I am using the ruler of my Pen Type A to measure it These were planted from 6″ tall sprouts on June 13. The upside-down planter, however, is not producing any flowers yet, so it may be a lost cause.
