    I never noticed the content was ever that slow.  Feedburner still hangs it up a bit so the background color takes a few seconds to load.

    I’m noticing it’s considerably faster…a lot less waiting for the server to respond. The background color doesn’t load right away because of the off-site scripts (like cocomment) running. They create content, and the site layout can’t finish drawing until they’re done. My CSS sucks :-)
