Yo! Serenity opens tomorrow!!! And here’s why I care (written back in December).

UPDATE: Saw it. Loved it. Indeed, Joss Whedon is my master now.

    As excited as I am about Serenity, I’m even more excited about MirrorMask. I’ve been a big fan of Neil Gaiman for a while now—although I must say the biggest draw on this movie is that it’s being directed by Dave McKean, my all-time #1 favorite graphic artist!

    You know, I’ve never seen an episode of Firefly come to think of it. I’ve heard good press about Serenity and considering that it’s written by Joss Whedon I’ll have to check this out.

    Get with the program Eric :) (yeah I’m very excited about Serenity, although the trailers really don’t do it justice).

    @kartooner:

    i’ve watched the movie (pre-screening yesterday) and the fact that you haven’t seen any episode won’t stop you from loving the film (or hate it, everyone’s different). A lot of people who where there never watched an episode and still came out loving it.

    That was something i found remarkable.. they managed to please both the fans of the tv series and the non-fans.

    Spread the word, and enjoy. :)

    Khaled: I just only added you to that meme that you passed to me. :) Sorry about the delay. If you couldn’t tell by now, I’m a bit behind in my feed reading and the entertainment and media industry. I’ll have to read those links.

    andr3: Good to hear you liked it. I figure even though I haven’t seen Firefly I’ll still enjoy it. It just looks too cool to miss. ;)
