Today’s cat picture is of James chillin’ out in my room, around 1999. The lighting is a little weird because it’s such a low-level light image to start with, and the color balancing didn’t quite work out.

James had the softest coat I think I have ever felt on a cat; and in certain light you could see faint striping on him. He was so complex.

I’d forgotten about his coat! I remember that he apparently only had the “inner coat”, not the coarse outer coat. So he was most excellently fuzzy and soft.
